Data Migration Kit or Transfer Cable?
So I called Microsoft to tell them I am purchasing a 60GB HD for my Xbox 360, which currently has the original 20GB drive. So I guess they used to be free but not anymore. It was like $12.95. The person said something like “So you would like to purchase the Data Migration Kit or Transfer Cable?” Everyone knows its always hard to hear in those situations with all the background noise.
So anyways, I assume the it was the Migration Kit that was $12.95, but then she said I could buy it now, or get it on Xbox.com. After talking, I later went to Xbox.com. Now, where the hell do I buy this thing at?
You need the Data Migration Kit. It comes with the cable, and a disk you put in your Xbox to move the data. You will have to call Microsoft to order one and pay for the shipping.

You will need your console’s serial number and console ID, so write them down to have them handy when you call.
