Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack Blue
Why won’t new Xbox 360 controller charge with USB?
We have two original two year old Xbox 360 controllers that we charge with the play and charge kit that we bought a few years ago. We recently bought a new blue controller and rechargeable battery pack.
The old controllers will charge from the USB port of our computers, but the new controller will not. We are able to swap any battery, including the new one, into the old controllers and charge it. None of the batteries will charge on the new controller when it is plugged into the USB port of our PC.
We *CAN* charge batteries on the new controller when it is plugged into the Xbox. I have read others have the same problem, but I have not seen an answer on how to get the new controller to charge with the PC. It is inconvenient to be forced to charge the new controller directly from the Xbox.
Any ideas? 
are the blue controller officially made by MS coz that might be the prob…..
