2) The power brick is one of the culprits that may be responsible for overheating your xbox 360 therefore you have to make sure that it is off the ground. This will allow cool air to enter the vents and circulate.
3) Getting cool air inside your xbox 360 is crucial so if you have a fan or anything else that can blow in constant cool air into it you could use it. The fans inside the console do not handle the job well enough so you may possibly help with that by also blowing away dust that has settled inside your unit.
Sometimes the fixes above don’t work and that probably means that your console problem is more advanced than a mere overheating problem, and that was the case with mine so i needed a guide to show me how to fix the red ring of death.
