I bought a 12 month gold card. then my friend gave me a 3 month gold card. can I enter them both in and make my xbox live gold service 15 months? or will they just cancel each other. also do xbox live gold cards have and expiration date on them.
I had this problem a few months a go. I had 2 x 1 month subscriptions from Microsoft for when my Xbox 360 broke down twice, but I also brought another 12 month subscription.
I first tried one of the 1 month subscriptions and it added a month onto the end of my subscription (my original expiry date for my subscription was 23/03/2008) and put it to 23/04/2008. I then added the other month and also the 12 month subscription, this took it until 23/05/2009.
Summary: Yes the subscriptions are stackable but be weary because if you originally had been paying with a credit/debit card then it will not be renewed by that card when the pre-pay cards have expired.
