Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Suggestions
When something is wrong with your Xbox 360, it’s typical to look for the Xbox 360 Red Light Fix. Take note of the pattern of light by observing the LED. You should be aware that depending on the pattern, there is a corresponding error code and LRD code.
When sections 1-4 are all flashing red, it only means one thing – detection of the device’s AV cable was impossible. To solve this, you can try to disconnect the AV cable first and re-attach it. You may also need to check the console’s power supply. You have to ensure that it illuminate green despite the continuous flashing red lights. Overheating is detectable when only section 1 and section 3 are flashing.
After some time, the console might freeze up or lockup. Allow the device to cool and check if the fan of the console is property operating. Turn it on after several hours of ‘cooling’.
If you want to prevent overheating, make sure that the ventilation openings of the console are not blocked. Don’t place the console on the sofa, bed, bookcase, stereo cabinet, or racks. Soft surface and confined space may cause overheating.
To use the appropriate Xbox 360 Red Light Fix, you need to take note of the red lights that are flashing. Determine the sections where the red light appears, and there you will see the four distinct sections. Follow the suggestions earlier and hopefully you will be able to fix the simple error codes with the help of the lights.

i was wondering if anyone knows where you can buy modding kits,LED’s and cases ect.
ive looked but there ain’t enougth selection really.

there are a few sites that offer xbox 360 case mods, but your best option is to make your own. i am in the middle of my 2nd case mod and i am going to get the leds today from radio shack. there is nothing to xbox case modding. i just draw a design on the case, cut it out using a small saw, sand it down to make the edges smooth, and paint. after letting the paint dry, glue plexiglass in the hole that you cut out, i use superglue or a hot glue gun. glue the leds where you want them, wire them up. and your done. you can get plexiglass from a hardware store.
