So I travel a lot and it sucks bc I always have to use wireless internet… I have a laptop that i can get online with…. Is there anyway I can get on xbox live through just a wireless connection other than my own? Is there something I can do on my laptop to allow this? I have the wireless connector for my xbox but of course I can not connect unless its through my own pc and connection.

5. Check the box next to ” Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection” then click OK.
6. Right click on Local Area Connection the click on properties
7. Click on internet protocol (Tcp/Ip) then click on properties
8. Beside IP Address type in: 192.168.0.25
9. Beside Subnet mask type in: 255.255.255.0 (Remember the this IP and Subnet mask are different depending on the brand of the router. This configuration is set for Linksys routers.)
10. Click OK
11. Turn on xbox go into the internet settings and make sure it gets an Ip and subnet mask automatically. B/C You have already assigned it in step 8.
