Turtle Beach Earforce XLC Gaming Headset – Xbox 360?
Is there any way to play the game sounds from a speaker, and then have voices(Xbox Live party for example) play from the headset?
I’ve experimented with the audio jack etc, testing different connections and lines but i got nothing

I did read the manual, but the stupid thing is, for me to hear someone over the game: i have to basically mute all the game sounds, playing in silence but hearing people to a certain degree
Why would you want to do that? If the headphones are on your head, you wouldnt be able to hear the game sounds coming out of the speakers. The XLC is a headset that is made to be used so that both game sounds and chat are in the headset.
Oh and, if you haven’t read through the manual that came with the headset, you probably don’t know how to balance the game sounds vs chat. You have to go into the game settings menu and lower the game’s sounds, music, effects, etc–and then raise the overall volume level on your TV to compensate. This will make the chat volume higher than the game sounds.
