when i send in my xbox 360 because of red rings of death, do i keep the faceplate on or take it off?
its just a white 1 that came with 360
funnily enough, Ive just got off the phone to microsoft –
they said remove hardrive, remove game – dont send any wires or control pad etc. – just the actual xbox itself – only remove the faceplate if its a custom one – so if its a standard one, leave it on.
bubblewrap and put in a box with no mention of microsoft showing (I guess so postal staff dont get tempted to nick it..)
