How do you clean an XBOX 360 DVD Drive?
Are there any tutorials to clean a XBOX 360 CD/DVD Drive?
Mine is past the 1 year gurantee and isn’t reading any of my DVDs I put in the drive. It makes a grinding noise now, so its unlikely that its a dirtly laser/lens? But its worth giving it a go if I can rather than paying out £80 for a new DVD drive.
Any links or tips to get to the laser/lens would be good. I’ve got the drive out of the case, but it looks quite hard to get to the lens. Not like the PS2 which was pretty easy in comparrison.
well what you could do is get them special cds that clean the dvd drive for you, they dont cost much and all you do is put this stuff on the disk and it cleans it, so hopefully that should work. it happend to my xbox and its fixed it straight away, i use it now once a week to make sure its keeping it clean
