My Wireless XBOX 360 Controller will not connect with my console.?

Today I bought a XBOX 360 Wireless controller from one of my friends and it won’t connect with my xbox. I put brand new batteries it in and even switched the battery pack with my other controller. I even tried the sync button on the console and controller. the green light on my controller just keeps blinking with a green light. Does anyone know how they can fix this problem?

Alright, try shutting off everything. I mean your system, controllers and all other accessories. Then, plug back in some brand new batteries to the controller you wish to synch. Once that is done, press the XBOX button on the controller and then press the synch button on the controller. After you press that go and press the same synch button on the Xbox 360. That should work and the green flashing light should turn off and go back to the solid stripe indicating which controller number it is.

If this does not help you at all and you cannot synch your controller to the Xbox you will need to contact Microsoft and ask them what’s up with it. I’m guessing that if it still doesn’t work that it is most likely broken or something is wrong with it.
