xbox 360 av cable got ripped out?
My xbox 360 AV cable got ripped out in a drunken stupor and the gold metal “hair” from the male end of the cord got stuck in the xbox female end and the cord is now empty should i take the pliers to them and just buy a new cord or is there certain ones i need to keep or is this above my head?
I would be very careful, if you have plastic tweezers then go ahead and remove it yourself but keep the XBOX plugged in and therefore GROUNDED. Otherwise, unplug the device and wait a few minutes (all electrical components are capable of holding a charge for a few seconds and sometimes minutes) then carefully remove loose wire.
You can find used AV cables from GameStop and such places for around $20 USD
Good luck!
