Polk Audio SurroundBar Speaker System Reviews
I bought the Polk Surroundbar with some trepidation, because it is an act of faith purchase expensive due to the fact that I could not find a distributor with a Polk exposure to the test. I thought that the device would be ideal in my TV room, because I refuse to holes in my wood floors traditional 5.1 rear speakers.
Fit and finish
The SurroundBar is here and I was immediately struck by the integrity of the product. The adaptation and the finish on the bar was very impressive. The product is very strong and solid, closed with a real metal, which is very hi-tech and robust appearance. Moreover, the accessories included in the package (stand, stand, cables) are of the highest quality and complement the surrounding bar.
Performance
When the system was initially set up, I thought it looked beautiful. Then I studied the development of guidance, and found that the manner in which it is connected to my subwoofer and the necessary adjustments on my receiver was not correct. Instead of standard RCA type of connection as I have to be reorganized in on-line through the speaker wire than 2 connections, as recommended by Polk. Moreover, the size has to be set at a great all channels. (I have learned to always follow the manufacturer’s specifications!)
Once adjustments were made, the sound is incredible. The first thing you notice is the power of this unit. The sound is great and very impressive. The surround effect is absolutely incredible both with DVDs and Xbox games. Now, the experience almost 360 degrees with a healthy separation between all channels. Movies with DTS-ES 6.1 sound are a marvel to hear. This system replaced full-size 3.1 Onkyo speakers and sounds cleaner, more powerful and much more complete than others in terms of size enough!
Conclusion
I am completely satisfied with my purchase. My demo material chosen so that I can invite my neighbors and friends to come and admire my new toy. Expensive, but you get what you pay for this product – no child, no holes in the floor, easy installation and excellent performance. Even my wife thinks it is cool!

This Samsung screen has an audio input so I purchased the audio adapter to connect the two audio cables to the monitor but I only get the left speaker to work…..any ideas ?

Sounds like the adapter’s bad. Make sure by plugging something else into the monitor and see if the audio works. Then plug your xbox into something else and see if the audio works. If so, then the adapter is bad. Otherwise, you’ll find out what’s bad.
