how to determine the voltage needed for my xbox 360?
ok, im fairly new to xbox 360 and i dont know where to start. i recently received a console(free) with no accessories and im trying to test it to see if it works or not. i tried to get a ac adapter but im not sure which one i should i buy 175w or 203w. any help? thanks!
Eek don’t put that to it. The Xbox 360 is a computer.. it runs on DC voltage (12V) just like your regular desktop computer.
I’m not sure of what wattage it uses or even if you could mod an old computer power supply to power it.. I wouldn’t try it but I’d say it needs at least 350 watts.
I’d find a friend that has a 360 and test it with their power supply, otherwise you can find them on Ebay for $30 bucks.
