World of warcraft FPS drops related to Addons?
Playing WOW on a pentium 4 3.2ghz hyperthread, 1 gig ram dual channel and a radeon x850XT video card. I used to have FPS around 50-60, i have installed a few addons, recently Bartender3, and it seems like my FPS are around 25-40, and I can see the choppyness and it drives me nuts. do the addons kill the FPS that bad or is barterner a resource hog? maybe a different UI mod? or is it time to upgrade?

Some addons can take more of your memory, that is true. Unfortunently I do not know an easy way to check without installing yet another addon. Try getting FuBar and PerformanceFu (available at wowace.com or any other addon site such as curse). That can show you the total memory being taken by the game, as well as how much is being taken by addons alone.
Or you can test things by going back into your addon window, turning off bartender, then entering the game. If your video performance is back up to par then obviously bartender is the source of the problem.
