Warcraft Frozen throne + Dota lan help?!?
I have warcraft 3 and the frozen throne installed on two of the computers in my house. I have been playing my brothers warcraft and dota for a while. all of a sudden the dota maps stopped working. every time i tried to make a game it would just take me back to the homepage. i cant even make a single player game. it does work on battle.net though. then all of a sudden the computers couldn’t detect each-other even though the internet was working perfectly (on the same network) and there is no firewall. now we cant play anything. I doubt there’s a problem with unopened ports because it had worked before without any problems. help?
i found the answer… it was a patch update problem
try opening the game by right clicking and choosing OPEN AS ADMIN (if in vista)
still looks like a firewall issue to me
try reconnecting
