Warcraft Key Bindings
World of warcraft question: Mages?
Hey I was thinking about rolling a mage. They seem to be one of the most fun classes to play. The only downside is they appear to be very hard to play. They seem pretty good at 70 from the videos ive seen but, all the buttons/key bindings seem to make it complicated. So, my question is, are they worth leveling to 70? I plan on doing PvP and maybe some arenas.
WoW has a rock-paper-scissors class system where Class A beats Class B but Class B beats Class C, etc. You won’t dominate everyone as a mage, but they are really fun to play in PvP because of all the tools in their bag.
You get crowd control, huge burst damage, ranged attacks, teleportation, damage over time, etc.
Why not level one up to 29 and play him in the BGs. You get most of your spells by then (granted, at lower ranks), so it will give you a general feel for the class. If you hate it, you won’t have wasted very much time.
