where do you put the wc3 ft patch?

I couldn’t find my wc3 ft cd so I downloaded it from the web, when I ran it, it required me to insert the cd. I checked out blizzard support and downloaded the wc3ft 1.24 patch, do i just drag and drop it into the Warcraft III folder located in program files?
