Is it worth it to upgrade the graphics card just to play Portal?
Hi, I’m interested in playing Valve’s Portal on my PC but my graphics card lacks support for Pixel Shader and thus, the game won’t run. My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce MX 420 with latest drivers.
I m battling whether it is worth it to upgrade the graphics card. I use my PC for World of Warcraft and online surfing most of the time and it’s working decently.
Should I wait it out and see if anyone out there can create an emulated version of the game instead? I don’t mean the 2D flash version that’s already out there of course.
