What should I do with my xbox 360 controller batteries?
I have my batteries on my quick charge kit all the time when I’m not using them. When I do use one, I try to rotate them so they would get even use. I play for about 1 to 2 hours then occasionally for 4 hours so they don’t discharge that much. Should I just leave them on that charger when they aren’t in use or should I charge them fully then take them off?…and if i do take them off…just put them on a controller as storage? Also, should I let them discharge fully then charge or charge after every use? I have heard from people saying let it charge fully then others saying charge after every use. Also to keep the batteries on the charger and others saying to charge them fully then store them. I don’t know what to do and I want to keep my batteries in the best shape as possible.
Even if the batteries are NiMH, they can still develop memory, so it’s better if you use the batteries until it’s almost dead, and then recharge them fully.
You can leave them in the controller, but I think the controller will sap a little bit from the battery even though it might not be in use. If you want the battery to last longer between charges, take them out after your done, but it doesn’t really extend your playing time that much.
