do you have to chat with people in virtual life games?

in the online game, second life (or other games like that) do you have to actually chat with people? because i really want to play it but i don’t want to chat with anyone. Oh and then i was wondering if there were any virtual life games good for teenagers. or does it matter how old you are?

Well you don’t HAVE to talk to them. You can ignore them or be silent but I’m guessing people will talk to you. There is a real life simulator game called The Sims 2. I play it all the time and it isn’t an on-line game, it’s an actual video game. I’m not sure if that’s what your looking for or not.
