Online Games Strategy War

Elements of a Good Online Game
There are different platforms for games: you have console games, PC games, handheld game consoles, and of course, online games. But even if you have all these types, there are elements that are common to them when it comes to being a good game software. Whether they are boards games, strategy war games, or arcade games, there are common factors that make them good to play and popular among the people. And we mention some of those concepts and elements here.
First of all, there should be a good story behind the game. Usually, there should be some form of alternate world or gripping story behind the game. This is true especially when you play arcade games online, there are different storylines being offered by these games. And aside from the story, the artwork and graphics should be great as well. This is to better tell the story and to get the appeal of the gamers. This is how traditional board games that have online versions get to be popular again, that is through the graphics and animation.
And of course, the other element should be the challenging game play. This is true especially for free sports games that are offered online. Though these games are just simulations of the real thing, they should at least offer the same challenge to be interesting for players and sports fan. The same goes for online board games and puzzle free games. These should have interesting obstacles, puzzles, and challenges to keep the interest of gamers. They should have the right level of difficulty to keep everyone playing. As with most people, they hate to lose. So, a challenging game would keep them going back until they win or overcome the challenge. Related to the challenge is that there should be some level of competition involved. Whether you’re fighting with other people or just the computer AI, the competition should be at a level where people would be challenged and attempt to clear the game, no matter what.
So, these are some of the elements of a good game, whether it’s online or any other format. With these in mind, you can more easily find the games that you’d like to play, and also be aware why these games are so gripping and captivating. Knowing these elements also make you learn why some games are so popular among gamers and casual players as well.

Online war/strategy games?
I am looking for an online strategy war game thats free. Doesn’t nessessarily need to have graphics, but the kind where you basically run your country (enonomy and such, and use points as money to buy weapons) and fight other people (countries) online. Real time time too.
Kind of like this game…( http://www.worldwar3.dk) but this game is full and has a waiting list… but along these lines is what I am looking for.. Anybody know of anything else? Any help would be great.
