Right now my favourite free MMORPG is a browser based one (so you don’t even have to download it). See the link below, it’s FallenSword. I like this game cause of it’s guild system that stimulates interaction, and the lottery and the auction mechanisms that are also very original.
I’ll also give you a link for the “List of free MMORPGs” on wikipedia, where you can see the available games out there. Some of the games are really good (Anarchy Online, Maple Story, Flyff…). Take a look at the websites and check the screenshots, maybe you’ll find some that interest you.
