The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Jesus’ birth and the coming of an angel with good tidings.
The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about the Quran is Allah’s Book, no one has created the heavens and earth save Allah, Muhammad is not the first or innovated of the messengers and the top Jewish priest, Ibn Salam who believed in Muhammad and Quran.

New Testament
Chapter 46 in the New Testament is Luke 2; it is composed of 52 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about Caesar Augustus commanded that all the world should be taxed, this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria. Joseph went to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife. Jesus was borne in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. An angel came and said unto the people there, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
The question is: was Mary the wife of Joseph for real?
As far as I know and believe, she lived and died as a VIRGIN

Luke 2 (King James Version)
1] And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
2] (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3] And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4] And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5] To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6] And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7] And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8] And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9] And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10] And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

well-kept lineage and the massacre of the innocents?
i’m a little bit puzzled. as i’ve been told by several people here, the jews were very good at keeping a record of all male births in bethlehem. this would explain why the lineage of jesus from king david is so well-illustrated in the gospels. however, it does raise the question of why these same lineage records were not referenced when king herod ordered the massacre of the innocents. wouldn’t this have been a much more efficient way of going about doing things, and to make sure no stones were left unturned, as they obviously were, in their search for the jesus?
There you go again, treating the story as if it were true and there was some reason and logic behind it. Ask rather what point this part of the story was trying to make. That Herod was a brutal man, I suppose.
