Final Fantasy XIV troubleshooting?
Just out of curiosity if anybody else is still having bad in game lag. Mine has gotten a little better, but not by much. Its at the point where i can actually play a little without a 5 second lag period, but still it lags constantly. If anyone else is still (or have since the CE came out) experiencing this please let me know and let me know how you have configured the actual game settings. Hopefully this is something on Square Enix’s end, and they will fix it soon!
Final Fantasy XIV had been in open beta in September, so it’s natural to experience some lags and errors leading up to game release. These lags have persisted beyond CE release (Sept 22) though I’m sure it should be fixed specially since the PC game has officially released.
Back in beta, I had update errors while launching the game. This was due to server congestion. Try starting FFXIV after a while, or you could disable the firewall and see if it works.
